Sending Sunshine

Hello :)
Today I am sharing a quick card that was recently made for Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine. This one was actually a sketch challenge which are always fun to do. I went with a bold summery look...
For this card I used the WPlus9 Sunshine Layers Die Set. I used this to create the scallop edge, the sun, clouds and sunshine word. The backing paper is from Lawn Fawn and the the stamps are also by Wplus9. I added some ink to the clouds to help lift the design.

I will be back soon :)

Garden Friends

Hi all :)
I have some very exciting news to share.. I have been asked to join the Hunkydory Design Team! I literally couldn't believe my eyes, I have loved Hunkydory products for years and have many of their collections. I make and sell quite a few cards using Hunkydory products so this is a dream to be on their DT. So with this news in mind I thought I would share my latest Hunkydory card...
For this card I used the Garden Secrets Toppers and cardstock. Everything is mounted onto gold mirri card. I also added a paper doily, ribbon and pearls to finish - nice and easy! How cute are these image though!?

I will be back with more creations :)

Birthday Tea

Hello all,
Well today has been a bit too hot for me - and it's still scorching! I haven't been able to do much as it literally wipes me out this heat. Today I am sharing my first creation using the fabby new free downloads from Making Cards Magazine...
Every month Making Cards Magazine launch a new set of downloadable free toppers and papers. This one is called Tea Party and you can grab yours on the website here. I printed out the topper twice so I could do a 3d layer. I mounted all the papers onto caramel card. I also added some ribbon, lace, pearls, die cut sentiment and a heart embellishment.

I will be back soon :)

Otterly In Love

Hi all :)
Another scorcher here today luckily it is a little cooler inside which means I can try to get on with some more work. Today I am sharing one of my otter cards that was in last months Making Cards Magazine, how cute are these lil otters?!
For this card I used the MFT Mini Hexagon Stamp for the background which was stamped in grey ink. I created the circle panels with distress inks and water splats, they were then die cut with the Double Stitched Circle Dies. I stamped the Wave Background onto a Stitched Rounded Edge Panel. I coloured my otters and accessories with Copic Markers and attached them in place with foam pads. I also added a sentiment and some sequins to finish.

I will be back with more cards soon :)

Dad's Shed

Hi all :)
Wow what a scorcher it's been today! I even got a little burnt in the sun - oops! It's Father's Day and although I forgot to take a pic of my dads card I made I thought I would share another one from last months Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine...
My challenge was to create two cards into a beach hut/garden shed shape so this is the first one. I was given some lovely Docrafts wood effect papers and also some First Edition Dies. I also added some distress ink the edges and even made the door open.

I will be back soon :)

Bugs & Kisses

Hi all :)
Sorry I didn't get around to posting my card yesterday - was a bit hectic in the end! So I am posting it today instead. I have been busy making some quick cards to sell in my unit at West Bay so I will have many to show you from now onwards. Here is one of them using some super cute Hunkydory images...
This collection is called The Secret Garden (also one of my fav childhood films!). I love the adorable images and of course cute matching card stock. I also added some ribbon, lace, pearls and some card candi to finish - super easy!

I will be back soon :)

Congrats To You

Today I am sharing a Wedding Card. I don't very often make these so I was delighted when asked to create this card for Paper Crafter Magazine. I went a bit mad and added lots of embellishments to make it pretty, here it is...
For this card I used a Wild Rose Studio Topper for the main image which was mounted onto cream shimmer card. The papers are by Marianne Design again all mounted onto cream shimmer card. I also added a white doily, various flowers, some ribbon, pearls, lace and a die cut sentiment.

I will be back tomorrow :)
